Default What do you guys think of this company?

http://www.totalcostinvolved.com/new_products.cfm

Since this is one of the few company's that makes the suspension kits I need to install the 4v in my 62 Comet, I might order the front and rear kit from them. I also have to relocate the master cylinder, clutch cylinder off the firewall to under the dash somehow. Dont know about the steering column yet either Ididit or Flaming river?

Looks like some pretty good stuff Chris. Get that stuff, or have it all custom fabbed.

Never heard of them. Do a better business search. If they have no complaints I'd say go for it!!

I'm pretty sure I saw their product on a Gearz episode I have on my DVR. I'll check. In that episode (which we all know is basically a commercial) it looked like it went really smooth and I liked what I saw from the company that put out the pieces.

I saved it because my dad's looking to get into an early Mustang in the very near future...

I used a frame from them on a 29 Model A Sedan project I built several years ago. I got all the front and rear suspension from them and everything fit without any modifications.

I was glad a few of you guys had good things to say about them and have used there products before with no hassle (my choices are limited and saves a lot of time then fabricating from scratch). Last time I talked to TCI thier customers service was pretty good they even said they would throw in the motor mount brackets to install the 4v at no charge. I want to buy an aluminum steering column from flaming river, but I dont know what size shaft I should order or how I should measure or if the motor has to be installed first. I would like to have most of the parts ahead of time before I start cutting the car apart.

I would get the engine and transmission in the car before ordering the steering column. The routing of the shaft could get tricky and you might need to have several universal joints to clear the headers.

I am really contemplating on the trans, I want a N/A 11.50 index car but I also want a street car. I enjoy a 5 speed for the street much more then an automatic and I don't really know how well a dynamic c-4 3 speed would be on the street. Anyways I picked out the steering wheel
http://www.flamingriver.com/index.cf...rod/prd272.htm

also check out the new ez fit steering shaft they offer I don't know if it would work but its a great design on paper
http://www.flamingriver.com/index.cf...cat/cat120.htm

also check this out keyless push button start
http://www.flamingriver.com/index.cf...rod/prd379.htm

it would be kool to install the start button right wear the original ignition is on the dash in a 62 comet.
