Before MT came out with there drag radial i woudl have said the same thing. When the BFGs were the only game in town I felt exactly the same., After owning MT dr's, they are just SICK. WHy do you think they are still illegal in FS??

Jeffs car doesn't hit the tires near as hard as yours does J.

let's see, J's car leaves hard and nails the tire like mine does. Jeff, your car leaves like a grocery getter. I'm not insulting you or anything, I'm just stating what it looks like from the side. You don't hit the tire that hard at all.

Being a stick car I can say having a 275/60-15 MT DR on the car equals instant tire spin for me no matter the air pressure or launch rpm. Best sixty I managed out of them was a 1.73 Now with a 26x9 slick leaving at 6200 gets me 1.60 sixty with ok track prep, still spin but no where near as bad.

Jeff....I never had a problem with the MT DR......16-18 psi with a 2nd gear burnout and I always dead hooked...on any surface....cutting 1.56 to 1.60 60 fts.....even with no track prep I just moved the pressure down to 14-15 psi and it dead hooked.....if your suppension is tuned you will hook....I was using the 27545R17's.....and pulled both tires several times....
